This 90 minute lecture will provide information and tips on preparing the garden to survive the winter and perform better in the Spring. The session will cover information on how plants protect themselves for winter, pest and disease prevention, digging and storing tender bulbs, protecting perennials, lawn tasks, general yard maintenance, and planning and preparing the garden for Spring. This informative discussion will also touch upon fertilization in the fall as well as bringing houseplants back indoors after their summer spent outdoors.
